The story of Nehemiah is truly remarkable. This humble servant of God used what influence he had and planning he could devise to lead the people of Israel as they rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem in record time. His resilience, intelligence, and faith are worth emulating and his leadership is worth repeating.
In the accompanying lessons, you’ll be able to see the problem, the plan, and the (finished) product. I have to admit, this story is one I didn’t quite appreciate like I should have earlier in life. It’s truly a magnificent account of what God’s children can do when they “have a mind to work.”
